Why an Energy Report?
With energy costs soaring, it may be that you’ve decided now is the time to improve the energy efficiency of your home. But perhaps you are not sure how to go about it and you are not sure which sales people to believe? I can solve this problem by providing you with independent, impartial advice.
An Energy Report will help you to fully understand the current energy efficiency and sustainability of your property and will provide intelligent recommendations for how this can be improved – in ways that will be both cost effective and appropriate for your particular property.
The report is suitable for both purchasers and existing home owners and is also useful for landlords wanting to understand how they can best achieve Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES).
An Energy Report costs £350 – £650+ as a standalone service, or is just £250 if purchased pursuant to a Level 2 or Level 3 survey.
About the Energy Report
The report builds on the EPC assessment and makes recommendations that are appropriate for your property and situation, taking into account your property’s construction, features and location. Recommendations will also be tailored to your budget and your desired return on investment.
It is important to understand that many of the energy efficiency measures offered in the marketplace are simply not suitable for certain types of property and, in some cases, can even cause damage or create new problems.
An Energy Report will help you chart the way forward in a way that is most appropriate for you and your property.
